Grinding Lenses to See How School Gardens Grow Science

School gardens are unique educational contexts for a variety of reasons. They provide settings in which to imagine, design, and conduct investigations. They also provide students with a sense of place that connects school with family and community and links them to homes and neighborhoods. As such, school gardens emphasize that the context and the content of science both matter, grinding a lens through which to see how people grow science within and between these everyday places.
